How To Play

There are all six squares in a row, corresponding to the number of letters that you must guess. With the first word you randomly enter, it's best to fill a word containing many vowels.

The game will give you feedback later:

Blue: Don't change their positions in your next guess because they're in a hidden keyword and in the right order.

Yellow: You need to put them in others; the keyword consists of them, but wrong in order.

Gray: Never refill them since they aren't in a mysterious word in Word Hurdle.

It continues giving your guesses through these hints. The game will finish if you fill in the correct answer in six attempts.

Tips for Puzzling in Word Hurdle Effectively

For newbies, we share some tricks to conquer the letter squares in Word Hurdle:

You prioritize words with common consonants (T, R, S, N, L) and vowels (O, A, I, E), which might optimize your initial guesses. For example, some of the best words to try are TRUSTS, CRANES, GLANDS, BRANCH, etc.

Though there is feedback from the game, you can't still guess. You can utilize the "hint" icon by watching advertisements. There are a total of 3 uses.

Let's balance consonant and vowel combinations. The most effective way is to distribute letters, mixing vowels and consonants.

Once you aren't sure if the hidden word contains duplicates, you'd better avoid repeating the letters you used.

Concentrate on the structure of words. For instance, the last letter in the mysterious key is Y, so let's consider letters that might precede a Y.

You can both play and search for the must-guess word when you collect some letters. This is useful when you can't arrange them into the correct keyword.
